I have 3ds MAX 2009 on my home workstation, but some of the in-shop workstations are only 3ds MAX 2008. How would I go about saving the file at home so I can open and work on it in-shop?

Thanks
Patrick

You can Export to an FBX file or 3DS. 3DS will go back further but doesn’t support as many features as FBX.

There is a script on scriptspot.com. It’s not perfect but it works
