Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me out here.  I have a quick but high rez .avi I am trying to compress.  I have rendered out the frames as lossless .jpg’s.  When I bring the frames into video post or the ram player and try to create the .avi with Divx 6.7 or xvid compression I get an “Image I/O Error”.  It says that there was an internal error and asks if I would like to retry or cancel.  The rez of the .jpg’s are 35mm 1.66:1 (cine) 1536x921.  I am also trying to output with the same settings.  I have found that if i try to output with a custom size of 640x480 I get no error and the compression works fine.  All help would be greatly appreciated.

Running Vista x64
AMD athlon x2 4800+
2g ram
Nvidia 7900 gtx

DivX and Xvid do not support arbitrary resolutions; check the documentation but I think the width/height had to be divisible by 4 or at the very least be an even number, or something like that.

Best regards,
Vlado
