Hello,

in my workflow, i name my max files as follow :

clientID_projectID_description_version_subversion.max

and i would like to know if when i render out to images, it is possible to write as output filename something like :

i;lename_.jpg so that when i render out a sequence of files, i get :

clientID_projectID_description_version_subversion_0001.jpg etc…

Thanks !

Well, technically you can name the images however you want.  But I’m guessing you want this to be something that occurs automatically.  :)

Look into using Batch Render.  If you set the Render Dialog to save an image with a name (such as your max file name) then use the Batch Render dialog, it will default tothe first file name appended with the View name you set in BR.  Once you set the Render Dialog file name, though, you will have to hit the render button for it to take effect (cancel it immediately if you want).
