today installed max 2009 with current sp1 on my render farm with the current version of backburner and so far no go. Getting the old unexpected exception error. Is anyone getting backburner to work with 2009?

We have been using it BB just fine with 2009.
Check to make sure all maps and source files are using full UNC naming. This was a problem before. You can use Asset Tracker (Sht-T) to see how things are mapped.

This is good news to hear. Now do i still need to change that one file name realated to the cube on server and all nodes? or did this get fixed with the current sp1? I also have real flow plug in and i am now suspecting this might be the problem do to the fact the nodes error shows up as this is being activated. Do you or anyone else have backburner 2009 working with the current version of real flow? It works fine for me in max 2008 backburner.
Thanks again for letting me know back burner is workiing correctly this really helps in the trouble shooting.

We have not disabled the View Cube, but I certainly don’t have it turned on anymore. So that may not be an issue anymore.
And sorry, but we are not using real flow. Can’t help you with that.
