| Lights being merged through Material Editor

I can also confirm that it is happening, but…
If you delete that specific light from the file and try again it doesn’t happen. So, the the cause is that light, but the problem is that for those of us without Vray we can’t load the scene properly (without missing classes) in order to try and find the difference between that light and the others.

All things vray should be out of this file - it still has the three direct lights, but I deleted all other lights to try and clear vray out of the scene. Renderer is set to scanline and the material editor has been reset.

I’m afraid there are still references to Vray in the file. The attached dialog pops up as soon as I “Open” in the Material Browser.

Sorry about that - there were still render elements turned on.
Try this one.

It’s getting there…
This is one of the problems with 3rd party renderers - once used they are very tricky to get rid of.

The VrayShadow problem is still there, however…
Going through the usual steps, there is no material in the scene - the browser window stays empty, and
No light appears in the scene \o/
