When I click on Render Set-up, material editor, Curve Editor and Schematic View buttons, I do not get the user interfaces to display on my monitors.  They’ve worked in the past.  Any ideas?

Ahh, the old off screen window nothing up my sleeve trick.

That would make sense.  I swaped out my dual vid card to a single vid card.  I was guessing that since it defaulted to the single monitor, MAX would put everything on that one monitor.  I guess MAX ain’t THAT smart.  If my mouse couldn’t go outside the single window boundary, how could MAX put windows outside that boundary?  Uhmmmm ...

Thanks much.

Switching from a dual to a single monitor system is the most
common cause of the rabbit not appearing from the hat…

Max itself doesn’t know about the 2nd monitor (AFAIK), it just saves the
location (top/left) of the window, so it appears (or rather it doesn’t
appear) offscreen ;-)
