Hi All,

My first post, shame it’s a problem :(.

I have a scene I want to use for a matte pass with two materials assigned: A matte black for the ground and a self illuminated white on the buildings. My trouble is that when I send the scene to be rendered over the network via Backburner, it fails due to missing maps.

There are no hidden, frozen or isolated objects in the scene and if I select everything, open the Material/Map Browser and select browse from selected, only my matte materials are shown. But if I browse from scene, I get a great big list of materials and maps! :-S

Anyone have an idea how I can fix this? I hope so, ‘cos it’s driving me nuts!

Cheers,

Andy

Try opening Max and immediately looking in the Material/Map Browser. If they are still there then it has to be something to do with your defaults. Mat Editor, Maxstart.max and so on. Save and zip an empty scene and post it here so we can take a look.
