Hi all,

I am using 3ds max 2009 SP1 x64 with a Logitech cordless trackman wheel. I was working on a project and went to customize- preferences- viewports and changed the wheel zoom increments up. It now zooms when I click the mmb. I don’t think I changed anything else but I can no longer alt+mmb to orbit. I have tried changing some of the settings in the Logitech set point control panel and I moved the max .ini file and still no luck. This has really slowed down my workflow, almost to a stop so any help would be much appreciated.

I have just tried a friends Microsoft mouse and it works fine. Must be the logitech settings, does anyone else use a trackman, what settings do you use?

Logitech drivers have been known to cause problems. I would suggest you remove the drivers and use those built into Windows. They work fine here with my MX518 (no trackman to test I’m afraid).

Max 4.2 through 2013.

NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
