I am trying to map an sole of a shoe. The Material is a fairly clear rubber...85% transparent...with some logos applied to the outside of the side walls of the sole. How can I do this?

Not easy to say without seeing reference, I expect you want to mix materials because the logos are opaque on the translucent rubber, you can use a Blend Material for that, you will need to make B\W mask map to separate the two materials.
Bear in mind, if you want to use a Fast SSS shader for the rubber (it can give a translucent rubber look), it won’t work properly within a Blend material.
