Hello there,

I am currently working on a lip synch Animation but
before my character starts to talk there happens some other stuff
so the talking begins about at Frame 950.

But when I load a Wav file I don’t see any possibility to move
that file, so that it begins at frame 950 instead of frame 0.

My first idea was to enlarge the sound file in the beginning,
so the speaker starts at frame 950 but I would like to know
if there is any way to simply move the sound file in the max timeline
or let it begin at a defined frame?!

Thanks everyone.

Change the curve editor mode to Dope Sheet, expand Sound and you should be able to slide the range to begin where you like.

I’m not sure you can, at least without using ProSound, which I don’t think is in Max 2009. I’ve always just done the lipsync within the sound range and just ignore the audio repeated after.
