Hi,

This has been a problem for ages (since max was released I think) but I was wondering if there is some sort of work-around.

In the perspective view, the further you get from the world origin, the less precise the movement of objects in the viewport. Even with snap turned off the objects appear to be snapping rather than smoothly translating. This is not an issue in user view but I don’t like using that. The only way I can get around the issue at the moment is to use the translation spinners to get fine control, or drop into an orthographic view and back again.

Any suggestions on this would be welcome.
