| PolyBoost 4.1 for Max 2009 both versions almost ready
|
|
|
Hi guys and gals,
PolyBoost 4.1 should be ready for both versions of Max 2009 very soon.
Man, that program is like having a third hand for modeling, don’t you agree?
What a time saver! Well worth the money. Still learning all the tools, because Carl keeps adding more features.
Kind regards, Tom

I don’t want to bring the tool down… it has great features… but after having it since 3 years I can’t remember me using it more then 3-4 times…
Its interface simple stops me doing something. Its like reading the manual again and again…

Hi,
After trying polyboost (as a polymodeler) i must say i was a bit shocked by the complexity.
I had hoped it to be more integrated within the max toolset or at least use the same logic, which it didn’t.
I am sure it’s quite uber and has amazing abilities but i had to let it go because of the feature overflow (maybe even chaos).
Maybe a non-programmer / artist should approach this and try to improve or streamline the workflow and logic to allow non-1337polyboosters to learn it faster.
Just my 2c
Kind regards,
Kurt

From looking at the first post (by Tom) maybe you need version 4.1 in order for it to install on Max 2009. Haven’t checked to see if it’s out yet.
I’m sorry to say I too found the program something I was (couple of years ago?) always trying to learn but never actually using for anything real. Sounds like it was made just right for Tom, though.

Hi Tom,
Some great (simple, but great) things going on here.
I downloaded the new version will have to check it out again,
maybe I’ve grown some since I tried it and will find it more intuitive.
Thanks!

My password for the user’s area isn’t working.
I wrote the owner but haven’t heard back.
The serial number is supposed to be there in the user’s area.
