I have been trying to install 3dsMax 2009 on Vista for two days. After appyling multiple fixes that I found on this discussion board (thank you everyone), I have had a successful install but the program won’t start up. I have tried changing graphics mode as well but to no avail. Any insight would be very much appreciated.

can you post system specs and also what video card and driver version please.

that’ll help start debugging the issue.

I hope this is the information you need. I have a 64-bit operating system, 4GB of memory and NVIDIA GeForce 8400MGS Video Card. I hope that helps. Thanks you for your help.
