Hi,

I’m having an issue with the relative transform spinners storing the last transform values. Touching the spinner again will transform the object by the previous amount again before subsequent moves are applied. I really want it to be zeroing after every move, which it rarely does. I have had this issue pop up before in previous releases.

I normally rely on the spinners for fine movement since the max perspective view always wants to snap the position of the object (maybe a precision issue) making it very difficult to get accurate placement. This doesn’t happen with user view but thats not much use.

If anyone knows a way to solve either of these issues I’d love to know.

Stuart

The “docked” transform spinners are very flaky with this version of Max (especially with rotations) so I usually use the “floating” one...which so far has never given me any problem.
