Good evening All!
I have been using Master Zap’s split render script for awhile now, and have to say, it saved me many times in time of desperation..
i had a quick look at the script with my shallow understanding of script, and basically it was utilising blowup regions to split up the render into what ever number you chose.
I have attached the script, all credit to Master Zap (mentalraytips.blogspot.com), for whoever is interested to have a look at.
problem is however..
what i have found is that, say i render the image at 5000x5000, with zero pixel overlap, when i stitche the image, it seems to have some overlaps. and also whats worse, when i compose 5000x5000 split rendered image with same render that was done in one go, the image don’t seem to match up (i.e, i do my beauty render with split render, my passes straight from max, when i put them on top of each other, they are off by around 5%).
As said, i had a quick look into the script, and it was using blowup render region as its base.
so my question was, does “blowup” render option creat some inaccuracies? like if i were to render 2000x2000 pixel, with 4 of 1000x1000 blowup region renders, will they stitch up perfectly?
will be great if anyone can shine a light on the subject : )
thank you very much in advance : )
