I am trying to use wood grain as a bump on the attached geometry. It appears correctly in the viewport, but when I render it out, the lines are straight and angled. I cannot seem to figure this out. How can I make it render how I see it in the viewport? (Like the end of a log)

TIA

Dean

You can change the “Source” of your wood texture to “Explicit Map Channel” and then it will obey your UV coordinates.  But you’ll need to set the “Grain Thickness” a lot smaller after you do this to compensate.
