I am trying to use the Trial Version of 3D Studio Max 09 on my computer, but after I finished installing it, when I click the icon, it comes up with window saying I must verify and register this product, when it’s suppose to be a Trial Version. Anyways, like I did before, I put in “000-00000000” since it said earlier that you must put this in if you don’t have a Serial Code. Anyways, so I put in the code, and it says that it’s an Invalid Serial Number. My friend downloaded this also, but from the way he talks, he didn’t seem to have a problem at all with the Serial Code. So why isn’t it working? Help. Please and thanks to all replies.

In that same “registration” window, there should also be an option to not register and use the 30 day trial.  Would you rather download and use that latest trial version?  You can download the 2011 trial here…

It sounds as if the 30 day trial period has already expired.

Weird, I only downloaded it two days ago. I didn’t change the timer, so I guess I’m just gonna have to download the new version. The reason I was using the older version was because that is what my school uses. Oh well… As long as it’s done. -_-

Well here is the problem.

The only legitimate version that is currently available for download is the current version through Autodesk, as far as I know. Version 9 has not been available for some years.

(Sequence of versions: 2009, 2010, 2011.)

Where did you download it from?

My teacher had the Trial version in one of it’s files. Plus, I’ve seen others, including the teacher, able to use the Trial on their own computers.
