Anybody have any ideas on why when I apply the unwrap modifier to my model that when moving my model around on the map all my directions are reversed: move vertices to the left and on the model they move right, move a face up and it moves down on my model.  Any help will be greatful

You know how photographers put their hands up to frame a shot, index to thumb so it forms a rectangle? Do that, and keep your head centered to your fingers, and twist your upper body left and right. Notice as you twist left, the object’s framed by your fingers appear to move to the right? Same principle. UV coordinates are fixed (your fingers), the model is fixed in space (the items your looking at), and moving the vertices is like twisting your body.

If that doesn’t make sense, you can’t say I didn’t try :P
