composite map bug?

hi, all

I have a question about composite map with mentalray.

here is screenshots.

I just assigned renderer to mentalray and create teapot and applied basic arch&design material

it has no other parameters except composite bump map

Composite map has 3 duplicated checker maps.(normal & addition & multiplied)

the first pic is a screenshot of max2009, and it has no problem

but the second pic is a max2010’s. you can see the difference.

Is this an already known issue?

ps) I cannot upload any pics, what’s the problem??? :(

The composite map is incompatible with bump maps unfortunately. Some people at Autodesk know about it, but if you’d like to see it fixed, I recommend posting it here to remind them…
