Hi all!
Im fairly new in using 3DS Max and would like to ask for tips in how should I go about creating my first game design.
I have few questions and I hope that members of the forum enlighten me on these issues:
1. How do I define the dimensions of things in 3DS max so that it follows the iPad/iPhone specs?
2. Should I create the models/characters separately then import them all together in the map that I created or I create them all together in the same file with the map?
I would really appreciate all your help :)
Thanks

its no different than any other model or texture. dont get caught up thinking that format is something different. once you learn how to create maps/textures. what you export it to doesnt matter

Thanks Tyree, I appreciate your help.
But I don’t quite get what you mean. Do you mean that I just go on and create my map and character models without setting or defining up any units of measurement? The models that I would be creating is for an iPad/iPhone game.

That will depend on the game engine you choose to develop the game. You should find that information on the documentation that comes with the engine.

it wont matter whether its iphone, web player or cd/dvd. they will all use the same map. the engines generally take ths same type of maps
