I have a simple character. I applied one texture to the whole model. I applied a uv unwrap. The unwrap looks good. I saved it and opened it up in Photoshop. However there is the UVs but not my texture. How do I get the texture I have on the model and get it onto the UV unwrap? I am looking either for a tut or what the process is called and I can search for it. Thanks.

Sounds like you are wanting to “Render To Texture” found under the “Rendering” tab.
This is a common tool used for baking Lights/Shadows, create Normal/Alpha maps and lots more.
