Hi, my name is chris and i am working on a quite large scene with a lot of proxies. since i want to speed up rendertimes it would be great to hide objects outside the camera range. is there a solution in max how to do that? i don´t find any. please help

thanks for reply, but thats not what i mean. cam clipping has a low and far plane, but all in front of the camera. what i need is that objects outside the fov are being clipped during rendertime.

That would remove them from any reflection/refraction/shadows/lighting calculations. Are you sure you want to do that? I am not sure they truly have that much to do with the overall render time once the scene has been processed? Anyone?
