Hi all,

my question is simply: why Autodesk missing all macro-icon for the ribbon? I remember that in last years a very special user create a macroscript + icon for the ribbon. And the good old Polyboost have a set of icon for every tool.

In max 2011 we have a new tools, so we need a new set of icons+ new macroscript.
I don’t know nothing about scripting or MAxscript, so I ask your help :)

Thanks!

Francesco

Probably because the tools were designed for the Ribbon which only supports .ico files, while the macroscripts are included (anything on the Ribbon is a macroscript) but not provided in the old icon format. My guess is the old icon format will probably be phased out for the .ico format by time we finish with XBR (or atleast I hope it is). There is a free plugin to read .ico files into photoshop from there you could make your own .bmp icon bars.

If it is that important try asking that user to do it again. If Autodesk didn’t do it last release why are you surprised the results were the same this release?
