I’m stuck with this. Since a few days, all objects that I create, when starting to drag, instantly pivot point jumps to 0,0. With Line, after clicking last point, it also jumps. And can’t move or rotate objects. Snap is off. Also have Design 2011 and 2010 installed, no problems with these.

You probably changed the default position controller.

See this tread for a solution.

Hint. When Max gives you warnings like the one below it pays not to just carry on regardless, unless you fully understand the implications of what you’re about to do.

Max 4.2 through 2014, Composite 2014.
XP-64 (SP2).
nVidia 9800GTX+ (512MB) (Driver 314.22).
i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

Thanks a lot for pointing me to the right direction. I already had Position XYZ controller, at first I saw no difference, but after expanding the controller, it has Waveform Float assigned to each coordinate.

By following the instructions and forcibly putting back a standard Position_XYZ you should remove the problem for any new objects. It will not affect any existing objects though - you’ll have to deal with those individually.
