Blue lines from constraints.

Hi all been rigging one of my robots and have been doing the pistons.
Ive created a standard pistons and put the orientation and postilion constraints and saved it.
so then ive added it to my scene and scaled it down to the right size but there are these blue lines that have not scaled down with the piston, my question is can i scale these down or even hide them? Ive got about 65 of these on my model and its looking like a porcupine.

Yes, but scaling a controller may NOT be a wise idea...there are many reasons not to scale in here but I will assume you know what you are doing with that part but don’t know where the little “blue line length” box is...see the below screen shot; (Example from a “look at” constraint)

Thanks for the reply you have been most helpfull, an no i dont know why its not a good idea why you should not scale down the blue line i will have a search

There really isn’t a reason to keep it, unless you need it.

You can read more about the Viewline Length options in the help here. If you disable the Viewline Length Absolute option, then the Value becomes a percentage of the distance between the object and the target. So if you only want it to go from source object and target disable that, and it won’t continue to over shoot the target.
