Dialogue box display error in Windows 7

I had been using Max 2012 under Vista with no problems. I recently switched over to Windows 7. Now, whenever prompted with a dialogue box such as, “This file already exists, are you sure you want to save it...Yes/No?” The background beneath the Yes/No buttons is a white band instead of the gray color of the rest of the box. This doesn’t cause any problems but is annoying to look at. Is this a fixable problem with Max, Win, Vid driver (Nitrous), etc?
