Hey guys,

I just found the reason why I thought max v.2013 was SLOW with the same CAD plans we used in v.2012

When you have the “scatter compound object” in your TOOLBARS it gets activated when selecting a certain object.

If the object turns out to be heavy in geometry or splines, it screws up max and makes it crash.

I found out it deleting it from the toolbars gets the speed with CAD plans back to normal.

DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE SCATTER COMPOUND OBJECT WAS OK IN MAX 2012, IT DIDNT SLOW DOWN ANYTHING

-------------------------

Can anyone confirm this? I checked the scatter compound object for max 2012 and max 2013 on the spline in attachement.

Let me know,

greets
