Try this script, it may fix it for you

Not sure how you managed to get rid of those - both the Slider and the Trackbar can have show/hide Hotkeys, but they are not defined by default.

Maxscript > New Script
Copy/paste the following into the script editor then press Ctrl+E (or Tools > Evaluate All).

actionMan.executeAction 0 "407"
macros.run "Customize User Interface" "UI_TimeSlider_Toggle"

[edit] Drat - I knew there was another way but I couldn’t find it quickly enough ;) [/edit]

For the timeslider there is an interface, no need to run a an external macroscript

timeslider.setVisible true|false

ah yes, and for the trackbar too

trackbar.visible true|false

I know - I just couldn’t find it quickly :)
It’s in the link Ampersand posted above - all wrapped up into a nice little MacroScript.

Hey raoninery… Did you try this?? Customize > Show UI > Show Track Bar.
Resetting The UI may works only for main toolbar, quadmenus and keyboards shortcuts etc.
