I am wondering if anyone knows if the current Autodesk Hardware Locks are compatible with Autodesk 3D Studio Viz 3i (released in about 2000)? I am unable to find mine and need it inorder to open a couple of projects from college.

I believe the old Hardware lock, or dongle, was specific to a particular release of the software it was for. So running two versions meant running two dongles in series.
And is there such a thing as a current Autodesk Hardware Lock? I don’t think they’ve used those since Viz 3. I think R4 was the first to go to a software lock…
