Broken Material Editor Viz 2007

Hi, I am a new Viz 2007 user, and I believe I broke my Material Editor…

I can adjust materials, render, and use them just fine...but the preview spheres are all just black squares...no matter what i do.

I am using the default scanline renderer, and have tried to reset all of my settings

Any help would be greatly appreciated



3ds Max 2009
Windows XP x32
2.8 Ghz P4, 4 Gig RAM
ATI FireGL 7100 256mg
