Hi,
I need to change the serial number on a VIZ 2008 installation on Vista Sp1. Uninstalling does not work. Going to ‘Help’->’About’-> also does not have an “Update” serial number button.
Anyone have any ideas?

you can uninstall it and then reinstall it
why do you need to change the serial number?
in max there is a help > activate 3ds max
i don’t know if its in viz

Uninstalling and Reinstalling does not work in Vista. I’ll probably need to change something in the registry.
Any ideas?

when you install it does it ask for a serial number?
you can try cleaning out your registry
was there a activate viz in the help menu?
