Hey guys im new to this site.
I have been using Viz at uni but i am still very inexperianced.i have built a model in cad and i have it in viz with materials added and all ready to render. The only problem is the lighting. Now i have added lights into the viewport however they seem to make absolutely no difference when i use the quick render button to preview it.It doesnt matter if i have one light or five lights in the image produced doesnt change.

i have been using the presets in the photometric lighting option.

i hope i have explained my problem well enough and i hope that someone has a solution.

Thanks in advance

Chris

What are your render settings?  Are you using mental ray with Final Gather, or Scanline? Is Exposure Control active, and what is it set to?
