Try adding more faces to the floor, this should solve it.

There are a few different ways of doing it. One way is to use the cut command in edit poly in edge mode and do it manually , another way is to add a tessilate modifier to the floor. The easiest and quickest is to use the tessilate modifier.  Try adding only one level and it should fix the problem, if not try adding another level. Otherwise you will have to cut it manually in to quads.
