I a trying to open Vi 3 ( loaded fine )on my computer (Windows XP,V 2002, Service Pack 3). I’m getting an application error (oxc0000005).

I have dabbled in 3D in past, not to the extent that I see on this site. I’m trying to 3D furniture that I build to d=sell.

I think Viz3 had a dongle device required to run. Is that installed, and in which port?

The dongle is on the parrell printer port. I installed VIZ 3 without thr key in place, is this a problem?

I seem to remember a post (here or elsewhere) that the dongles didn’t work past Win2k. I think someone found new dongle drivers, but it still didn’t work(?)
Check the search here and over at CGtalk.

This thread would tend to support that view.

Googling does throw up some possible solutions, but you’ll have to investigate them yourself.
