When I pan in Viz all objects become wire frame boxes.  What parameter do I need to change in order that objects will remain in their primary form while I pan?

I’m not quite sure why you posted this in “Off Topic” - it’s very much “On Topic” for the Viz forum, which is where it will be once I’ve moved it ;-)

Simple answer - Adaptive Degradation. Keyboard shortcut is “O” (letter oh) in Max and I guess it will be the same in Viz. The amount of degradation is configurable - should all be explained the Help.

Max 4.2 through 2012 (SP2+SAP).
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

Thank you, I posted in “Off Topic” cause I am not used to this board and didn’t even see the topic selector.  I am in the field a lot and computer time can take me quickly to hell.  Thanks a lot for your help. ee
