Hiya - is anyone using HPs new Z series with Max 2010? I was initially a bit put off with the seemingly low spec (Z600 uses a Quad 2GHZ with only 6 slots for the RAM) and at £1300ish for the 600 series seemed a bit pricey… especially as the HP XW8600 I currently run has a Quad 3GHZ processor with 8 RAM expansion slots…

I have since read that their new processors make a big difference (although not too sure which is better the W or E series) but what experiences have people had with both general usability/reliabilty and particularly render times?

Max 2012 SP1 64bit - started in Max R2.5 ( Athena) far too many years ago…
