Hi all, I am using a workstation with OS: windows 7 home premium 64bit.
I am planning to use 3ds max 2011.
But in http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/ser...d=14051406&linkID=9241177 It said that only windows 7 professional x64 supported.
Does it means 3ds max 2011 will not start in windows 7 home premium 64bit, or there are another thing I should know.

Does anybody try it before?

Thank you

I’ve not used it myself, so not speaking from experience. But I have read that others are using Max on that OS without problems. But be aware of the limitations of home editions as opposed to the pro editions, like multi-processor support.

3dsmax 2010 and 2011 work fine in Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit .
