I have just tried to load 3DS Max and i get this message:
c:\documents and settings\Rick\Local\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax - 32bit\enu\UI\MaxStartUI.mnu
Anyone know why i cant load 3DS and if there is a cure. Ive uninstalled everything and reinstalled but it still does it. I even installed a patch from the autodesk website, but still nothing. Any help would be grateful.

Rename it. Max will create a new, default one next time you load it. You will, of course, lose any customisations you may have made to the menus.

I do hope you didn’t try copying that file from a previous version (to avoid having to customise it) - that’s a big no-no.
