I am having a problem with Garment Maker not working in 3ds Max 2010 Educational Version. The problem is creating seams. I am not able to select anything to build a seam. I use spline to create my art work and use the break command to break the vertices, but when I go to seams nothing goes red after I select it. I can select it in the splines, but not in the seams. I also have 3ds Max 2010 on a custom installation. Where 3ds Max 2010 has its own 7.4 Gbyte Raptor harddrive partion and is labeled the D:\ drive. I also did all the updates from Autodesk website for the standard version of 3ds Max 2010, so I don’t know if that’s why it’s not working. I want to say this did work at one time, but I have installed and reinstalled Max 2010 before so I can’t say if that had something to do with it or not. I don’t know if Garment Maker needs files from the C:\drive of Windows to make it work or it’s all Max files. I am also running Windows Vista if that will help on some insight to the problem. I hope Garment Maker isn’t Buggy. I would hate to lose a feature on 3ds Max 2010. I deleted and re-installed 3DS Max 2010 on my computer. That didn’t fix the problem.
