I am an architecture student and I am planning on getting a new laptop. I have narrowed it down to two choices given my current budget. These are:

This is a Brand New Asus A53SV-EH71 with Intel i7 2670QM Processor & GeForce GT 540M graphics card. It includes global and accidental warranty for a year. $670

This is a refurbished HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx with AMD A8-3500M & Radeon HD 6750M graphics card. It only includes the 30 day manufacturer warranty. $500
Which do you think would suit me better as I need a laptop that can handle 3D modelling/rendering applications such as 3ds Max and Maya?
