I see http://www.microcenter.com/ has them for $199!!!! And others cpus also this cheap. But ONLY IN STORE PICKUP… they WILL NOT let you order over phone and ship to you. Their webstore also will not show them for shipping… they show up after you select a store near you though. There aren’t any stores near, so i am out of luck unless I have somebody go in and buy and then ship… and after paying tax also...whereas normally wouldn’t if they sold them through their website.
Jeez. Would be nice to get one at this price..since Newegg.com, ZipZoomFly.com (tigerdirect.com sucks) do not have them this low! they are about $290 plus tax + shipping. Seems Newegg.com and the like used to be great for pricing comapred to local stores like BestBuy, defunct CompUSA 9well some around I guess, but too pricey), but there prices really aren’t that great anymore since they know everybody comes to them now for stuff since alot of pc parts stores have shut down (compusa, circuitcity etc). Especially with the shipping and tax if you live in CA or TN.
Anybody know where I can get such a great deal like this elsewhere? really don;t want to settle for a i5, especailly when 1366 is the way to go.
