is it possible to only install composite from the 3dsmax2011 dvd?
i am still on 2010 and dont want to install the whole 2011-package at the moment.
any help appreciated - thanks in advance

I can’t see anything obviously Composite related, so you’d have to try running the normal Setup and deslecting everything but Composite (if that’s possible). Also, Composite says “Obtaining License” while its Splash Screen is visible which is probably (just guessing here) tied to the Max2011 license, so what you want may not be possible.
Max 4.2 through 2013.

It is not posisble since it uses the 3ds Max 2011 license to validate the license, so to have Composite 2011 you need to have Max 2011 installed, but there is no problme in having both versions of max (2010 and 2011) installed side by side.

yes, i know i can have multiple max-versions installed on the same machine. but i always keep my system as compact as possible (for good reasons)
