need help building a pc to run the latest 3dmax great

i need to build a pc that can run the latest version of 3dmax perfectly, a machine that runs fast that can do renders fast and that basicaly runs 3dmax great, hope to hear from someone soon thank you

We just had a blistering hot new system built.  One thing that was added that isn’t mentioned in that link, most people don’t know about it yet, is solid state drives.  We filled the box with the biggest, fastest solid state hard drives possible.  They are stupid fast compared to conventional drives, and because there aren’t any moving parts are far less likely to die on you :)

solid state is mentioned in the high end build of the article.

i recommend a Crucial C300 128GB if you want to go for an SSD drive, it seems to the best bang for buck at the moment or the 256gb version. x2 of them in raid 0 would be devastating just don’t keep anything important on the system drive if you go for that option
