I just found another problem with Back Burner 2012.1. I have an old job from last year that I had to install and open in 3ds Max 2011(It has reactor items in it.) After installing 2011 I went on to make the changes and submit the job to BB. I started BB Server on my workstation and left for the weekend. Monday Job Done.

Looking at the frames I noticed the camera was rendered out of alignment. I sometimes get that when I open a 2011 project file and I fix it by minimizing and maximizing the viewport but BB can’t do that of course and it was never an issue at render time.

I didn’t have time to fix it earlier this week so I just got back to it today. In the mean time I got tired of my 2012 projects trying to open in 2011 so I uninstalled and reinstalled 2012 so that the double click method of opening a Max file defaulted to 2012 not 2011.

In the future I plan on doing this:

That brings us to the current problem.

Apparently I don’t know what I am doing because BB is not opening the version of 3ds Max that the file is saved in, it only opens the DEFAULT version on the machine.
Anyone know what I did wrong?
