I do not mean to be rude but I have searched this forum and found tons of posts with replies to SEARCH THIS FORUM, what is the point of searching the forum when all the threads about new Hardware specs etc… have replies that are SEARCH THIS FORUM.

its because its been done to death and in the end its mostly opinion. there is no “best” hardware. no one ever gives details of what they are looking for, what kind of work they are doing , or a budget or anything so whats the point in writing out the same answer, over and over again every time someone asks the same question.

you look at the system requirements of the software and then match the recommended specs or pick a higher spec. its not rocket science.........decide on your budget and then pick the highest specs you can for that budget.

either build yourself, or get from a specialist.

I agree with CompanionCube.  A better way to approach this would be to do some searching, find something you think would work, then post the specs here so people can comment on them.  There are far too many options available to choose one or two.  It’s like saying what kind of car should I buy if I want to drive pretty fast?

Asking more specific questions will get you a lot further.  Like asking about a car if you need a sedan that gets good gas mileage and won’t cost over $16,000.  That narrows things down.  Better yet, should I get a Suburu Forestor, Jeep Grand Cherokee or Ford Explorer.  Then you’re SURE to get answers and opinions.

or you can just get this
http://www.gamepc.com/shop/systemfamily.asp?family=ds5

serially, click on the right and see what these guys put together then use the customize button.
then you can buy the parts much cheaper shopping around and put it all together yourself
