Hi i am using ASUS P7P55D Motherboard and i just used the new TurboV EVO to overclock my cpu, now BCLK Frequency running at 156 Mhz…
but for some reason rendering with overclocking cpu did not speed up my render time!!! any ideas???

3ds Max 2010| i5 750 Quad Core @ 2.6 Ghz, NVIDIA Quadro FX1400, 4GB RAM.

You need best cooling.  Socket 1156 CPU have termal clock control. With your overclock you are overheating and the CPU underclock more than without overclock.
