Hi, first of all sorry for my English:) I hope you will understand. I’m going to upgrade my pc (phenom II X3 3,7GHz, 4GB ram, radeon hd 4870). I want upgrade my gpu to geforce 560GTX, but everybody is telling me, that my cpu will be bottleneck for that gpu. I would like to ask you, how big would be the bottleneck in 3DS max. Or should I better buy a new cpu (phenom X6)? Which upgrade (cpu or gpu) would bring me more performance in viewport/using tools/editing high poly meshes? I’m beginner, that’s why I don’t render so much, I need performance mainly for modelling. I’ve read, that nitrous in max 2012 benefits from multicore cpu, is that true? Thanks very much.
