I’m doing VFX and finding that rendering has really bogged down. My cpu is always maxed out, and I have no way of monitoring my graphics board.  I have moderate -quality, 10-second renderings taking 8-10 hours. And when I use raytrace, the process gets stuck on one frame and crashes.  Is this a graphics board problem? If so, what board would work?
Thanks.

rendering uses the processor and ram
the videocard is for viewport performance
you can set up a render farm
