My last thread may have been poorly named or described…

My viewports are behaving as shown in the linked video.  For a while I had no problem with Max, but when I installed Mudbox on this Dell XPS 17 laptop with Nvidia GTX555m I found that trying to open Mudbox would freeze the whole system.  I then went to newer drivers and found that while Mudbox now opens, Max’s viewports are unusable...if I maximize ONE I can use that one, but multiple views are a no go...this is true with Nitrous or Direct3d...all my other software - including things with multiple viewports like Vue 9.5 all work fine...only Max is the problem.

Ideas?
