I am rendering an interior showing some anistropic reflections or hots spots or color bleeding but there’s no light near the soffit. I tried changing reflection and refraction parameters of my materials and no change. Is this an FG issue? I have used the same FG settings (draft) for a while now and never had this issue. And this stuff only show up on certain camera views.
I attached an image that was being rendered but I stopped it during the FG calculation as it shows it on render anyway.
Second image is rendered and I don’t know where the color/hots spot is coming from.

Can you post a bigger image Aaroray81,
anyway what is the Frame Buffer type; 32 bits or 16 bits per channel?

if you are using an area light and have turned on visible to camera, i have found that they dont antialias the edges in the rendering, have always looked jaggy to me.
if you move the lightsource into the light geometry, that may help. also, you can set the hightlights and shadows to 0 in the photographic exposure control, that should help eliminate the hotspots.
